Cops Can Now Legally Execute Your Dog

The United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit ruled on Monday December 19 that cops are justified in killing pets even if those animals are not attacking or attempting to attack them.

Circuit Judges Moore and Clay, and District Judge Hood heard an appeal from the plaintiffs Mark and Cheryl Brown, of Battle Creek, Michigan. The Browns filed a lawsuit against the BATTLE CREEK Police Department, the City of Battle Creek, and officers Jeffrey Case, Christof Klein, and Damon Young for the death of their beloved dogs at the hands of sadistic cops. The killing happened on April 17th, 2013, when police were attempting to execute a search warrant on the home where the Browns were living because a police informant reported another man, Vincent Jones was distributing heroin, cocaine, and marijuana from the residence. Jones was apprehended before police arrived on the scene.

Do You Share Your Bed With Your Pets?

pets in bed, bed, pets, dogs, cats

pets in bed, bed, pets, dogs, cats

Pet owners consider their furry friends as a family member and some are so attached to their pets that they want to be with their friend as much as possible letting them even in the owner's bed.

According to PetMd, the largest website library of pet health information, about 80% of pet owners let their pets on their beds and around 50% sleep in their owner’s beds.

So the question is it healthy to sleep with pets?

According to Derek Damin (Kentuckiana Allergy, Asthma & Immunology in Louisville, Kentucky) pet owners who suffer from pet allergies or asthma should not sleep with their dog or cat or even allow them in the bedroom. They should also use HEPA filter and keep them out of the bedroom to give your nose a few hours a day to recover. They can also take allergy shots to build up a tolerance to the pet dander that causes allergic reactions.

If you have no allergy from pet or asthma there’s really no big issue with having a dog in the bed according to Damin, who for years shared his bed with his miniature dachshund. It’s fine as long as it doesn’t disturb your sleep. Having pets on your bed also put you in a relaxed state, that can relieve stress giving you a better sleep.

Make sure your pets are clean and healthy since they can transmit illness or zoonotic diseases. It is also advisable train the dogs first before allowing them to sleep in their owners' beds so that it doesn't cause behavioral problems. They may become aggressive if the owners let them sleep on their beds.

People in the US are spending more on pets care

pet care, health pet, animals

American spending on pet's health care are rising, according to a recent study from the National Bureau of Economic Research. According to the study, the U.S. health-care system is “uniquely inefficient” since it is plagued by high costs and poor health outcomes compared to other developed countries.

Although there are plenty of reasons why this might be, they write, it’s often blamed on an insurance industry that shields customers from decisions about costs, and government regulation and reimbursement that give the industry little reason to make itself more efficient.

The study found that spending cost on pet purchases, medical supplies and veterinary visit have mirrored the human health-care spending closely. It is up by 60% for pet health care from 1996 to 2012, and 50% for people.

Also the supply in physicians grew significantly faster than in other sectors it grew about 40%, while the supply in veterinarians nearly doubled. Physician-related establishments and veterinary-related establishments grew at similar rates, and more quickly than did other kinds of establishments.

Dog Owners Warned about Dangerous Bacterial Disease

Dog disease, lepto in dogs, leptospirosis

Dog disease, lepto in dogs, leptospirosis

Veterinarians in Chicago has warned dog owners about the increasing cases of a bacterial disease that is fatal to dogs and can be passed on to humans too. The disease is called leptospirosis and they said that they are alarmed about the recent rise in incidents of the disease in Chicago which is because of increasing rat populations and recent wet weather.

Lepto is a bacteria found in rats and is usually passed on to dogs through the consumption of standing water or when they step on it with their paws when they lick their paws they will be infected. The bacteria that causes leptospirosis is spread through the urine of infected animals and can live in water or soil for weeks to months.

Veterinarians in nearly every state are diagnosing more cases every year, so the need to protect dogs is on the rise.

Symptoms of leptospirosis are similar to those of the flu, which includes vomiting and diarrhea. There is a vaccine but it isn't foolproof because there are many strains.
If left untreated, it can lead to kidney damage, meningitis (inflammation of the membrane around the brain and spinal cord), liver failure, respiratory distress, and even death.

In humans, it can cause a wide range of symptoms, some of which may be mistaken for other diseases. Some infected persons, however, may have no symptoms at all.

What will you do if your pet outlives you?

dog lake
love this photo, the man treat his dog with arthritis in a lake.

As a pet owner this is one of my fears, since I consider my pet as part of my family and I worry about who will take care of my pet when I'm gone or if I'm incapable of caring for my pet.

I read on the that you actually have options on what to do incase you outlive your pet. You can set up a trust account and assign a pet guardian. However, if you can't find someone willing to take your pet, there are other options to prevent your pet going through a public county facility or shelter. You can entrust your loving pet to "Furever Friends Rescue." They are a nonprofit organization and they have managed to adopt out over 1,500 dogs and cats and helped over 300 families.

People who are facing assisted living, nursing homes, hospice or those dealing with the death of a loved one now have an option to entrust their pets to be put up for adoption in a new loving family.

German Shepherd Howl with Wolves on Zootopia

Zootopia, German Shepherd Howl

Zootopia, German Shepherd Howl

For dogs howling is like an infectious laugh, if they see you howling most of the time they howl back. YouTube user "HydraDelDiablo" uploaded an adorable video of a German Shepherd dog howling with the wolves in the movie “Zootopia.” It's really funny, specially if you have already watched Zootopia. If you did then you'll remember Gary the white wolf who is a security guard at the Cliffside Asylum. When he caught the scent of Nick Wilde, Judy Hopps started to howl that made Gary to howl too. Another wolf named Larry told Gary to stop howling but they eventually succumb to the infectious howling. Well, looks like the German Shepherd joined the fun.

VIDEO: Little Girl Kiss Lion, Lion Went Nuts

Little Girl Kiss Lion, girl kiss lion, zoo

A Youtube video shows a little girl plant a kiss on the glass partition facing a huge lion. At the start of the clip with the little girl just standing in front of it, the lion just stares at her intently. However, after she planted a kiss on the glass, the lion went nuts. It stood up in its hind legs and starts clawing exasperatingly at the glass.

In my opinion, society has to change these animals have done nothing wrong why put them in jail like Zoo. Let them live their purpose, let them live in the wild.

Cows are Intelligent Creatures too!

I saw this video on Facebook and was amaze to see how intelligent cows can be. They are also affectionate and gentle to us humans and yet we treat them with cruelty. Yes, I must admit that I eat meat but I'm considering removing any meat in my diet slowly.

Watching the video above, it seems to me that they are like pets they are known for being great problem-solvers. They are also playful, and have emotions. They can do a lot of tricks and do help their fellow cows. See, how they pump water from wells to quench their thirst.

We need to see that every single species in the animal kingdom are here on earth to live and they may look the same but they have different behavior and personality.

I'm not saying that we all should change our diet, what we need is to show more compassion to animals.

American Company killed 24 bomb-sniffing dogs after a contract fell through in Kuwait

American Company killed dogs, dog massacre, cruelty to animals

US celebrities that includes Matt Damon, Joaquin Phoenix and one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Lisa Vanderpump), animal activists in the United States are rallying to stop a Chinese dog meat festival that began this week and will reportedly lead to the slaughter of thousands of dogs, well that is all good but this American Company killed about 24 dogs after a contract fell through with an oil company in Kuwait.

An Instagram post by the Kuwait Animal Rescue Unit showed the dogs’ bodies piled on top of each other in a narrow hallway and called the action by Eastern Securities of Kuwait a “horrifying animal abuse it's a massacre.”

In the Instagram post by @karuq8, he said
“Due to their contract being revoked, they slaughtered 24 of their US K9 dogs whom were trained by USK9 dog training facility which is located in Louisiana, USA. This security company is an American company which worked with Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC). KNPC paid 3000KD (equivalent of $9900)/month) to the security company for each dog.”

There was an extremely sad and horrifying animal abuse/massacre incident at a security company based in Kuwait on June 17, 2016 in Kuwait. Due to their contract being revoked, they slaughtered 24 of their US K9 dogs whom were trained by USK9 dog training facility which is located in Louisiana, USA. This security company is an American company which worked with Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC). KNPC paid 3000KD (equivalent of $9900)/month to the security company for each dog. Early this morning, a brave lawer, Esmail Al Misri, representing the workers from Nepal at the security company and an avid animal lover, advocate, and rescuer, Mimi Maamoun, went to file a complain at Mina Abdullha police station against the security company. The environment police and municipality registered the case. There are another 91 dogs remaining at the security company. While they abused the dogs by having them on duty for 24 hours without rest, their foreign workers would not dare to speak up and raise any issues with the company as they were also being mistreated and abused. At this point, we as animal lovers in kuwait, USA, and other countries, we need to advocate all the animals by spreading the news and be the voice for these poor animals. We must help save the remaining animals! PLEASE NO DONATION IS NEEDED from/to any individuals or organizations. I will keep you posted as soon as I obtain further information.

Chinese Farmer Adopted "stray puppy", then discovers it's actually a Bear

adorable bear cub, stray bear cub

adorable bear cub, stray bear cub

A farmer in China adopted an adorable stray puppy, he feed, take care of it then he found out that it's actually a bear. The farmer found the cute puppy roaming the streets, thought that it was a Kunming wolf-dog. However, he realized that it was not a dog when he saw the dexterous paws and heard its growl.

Animal officials told him that it was not a domestic pet dog but actually an endangered Asian black bear, recognizable by the patch of white fur on its chest.

Reports said that the cub got separated from his mother in the nearby forest, before being found by the farmer in Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, in south-west China’s Yunnan Province.

Animal officials have sent the cub to the local Dehong Prefecture Wildlife Shelter for breeding. The cub will be kept in the shelter until it learns how to survive on its own in tough natural conditions, after which it will be released back into the forests.

Asian black bears, like the equally endangered giant pandas, are threatened by poaching, with their paws especially sought-after as a delicacy.

The capture, killing, breeding, and trading of the animals is illegal in China. Those caught will be facing up to 10 years in prison or in the case of trafficking pandas even death.

Dog Used as Target Practice in Oklahoma

animal cruelty, animal abuse

This is ridiculously cruel, I can't imagine there are people like these a holes. An Iowa pet rescue organization is rehabilitating a dog that was thrown in a lake, shot and left for dead in Oklahoma.

The 6-year-old Heeler-Beagle mix named Miracle was said to have been used as a target practice by idiots before she was thrown into a rural Oklahoma lake. She was rescued by a kind hearted person.

Volunteers took Miracle straight to Iowa Veterinary Referral Center for treatment. Doctors say the bullet that was shot into the pup's face broke her jaw and became lodged in her side. Vets at IVRC were able to retrieve the bullet. Another bullet grazed the top of Miracle's head, but it didn't penetrate her skull which is a real miracle.

Funny Dog Reaction When He Tries to Eat Lime

Dog eat lime, dog licks lime

The reaction of this dog trying to eat a lime was really funny and adorable. The dog which is a boxer, was playing on a beach with his owner when he found a lime in the sand. He started sniffing and licking the lime, and his reaction was hysterical.

starts to get curious about a lime he finds in the sand (perhaps from a long-abandoned margarita?) His post-tasting reaction is hysterical. He pounce his front paws and bang his head like in a rock concert.

WARNING TO DOG OWNERS: Yes, it's probably okay for a dod to lick or taste lime. However, I would suggest to don't let them near it. Limes can be bad for your dog in large quantities. Citrus aurantifolia can be toxic for dogs.

Woman Who Stopped a Cop from Shooting a Dog Acquitted

dog, pet, abusive cop

Tiffanie Hupp, 23 has been acquitted on the obstruction of justice charges she was facing. She was arrested when she stopped a West Virginia State Trooper from killing her dog.

The demonic state trooper is Seth Cook he said that he was just doing as he was trained. Yup, trained to do what? abusing the citizens who are paying for their salaries. The dog was clearly wagging his tail and did not pose a threat to the idiot police officer.

The dumb cops was called to respond to a heated dispute between Hupp's father-in-law and a neighbor not about the dog.

Cook the dumb trooper arrive in their property, and the dog named Buddy started walking to him.  Then Mr. Dumbo pulled his gun on Buddy and was about to fire before Hupp stepped in between them, stopping the officer from shooting. Ryan Hupp, Tiffanie's husband was the one who filmed the clip since he is too familiar with issues of police brutality, and wanted to document the officer’s actions.  If he hadn’t, there wouldn’t have been any evidence of the incident at all.

Tiffanie said that when she was arrested, the cops entered their trailer and took all the phones, tabs, and devices. It took almost a month of constantly calling the police department to get their devices back.  At first, they were refusing to return any of the devices unless Hupp or her husband gave up the password protection on their phones.  This would have allowed them to search the phones without a warrant, something they are not allowed to do.

At the trial, the dumb cop Cook testify on his own behalf he accused that Tiffanie had a crossbow in her hands, and also raised her hand up to Cook during the incident. Hupp’s attorneys had a few witnesses to bring, but really only needed to show the phone video of what happened.  At no time does Hupp have any weapons on her person, nor does she make any threatening gestures toward the officer at all.  The whole trial took six hours, and at the end of it all Hupp was acquitted.
