Video: Woman Walk Her Dog While Driving Car
Stockton, CA - A woman in Stockton, California capture a woman on camera while she was walking her dog by driving her car which really stress out the dog since it needs to run faster just to keep up.
Amanda Brajkovich capture the incident on video, as she confronted the dog owner. "She's driving her dog down the road." "Disgusting!" She said on the video.
In the video a dog runs alongside its owner’s car, tied with rope.
"If you're going to be a dog owner, a responsible dog owner, then you need to get out and walk your dog, you know?" Brajkovich demanded. "Don't be lazy."
She confronted the woman pulling the dog along the car, but the dog owner defended her actions. "He wasn't being dragged," she insisted. "I was watching his leash, there was no tension."
The Stockton Police Department looked at the video but say this is not animal cruelty. However, they added that the driver would have been cited for distracted driving.

Woman Who Stopped a Cop from Shooting a Dog Acquitted
Tiffanie Hupp, 23 has been acquitted on the obstruction of justice charges she was facing. She was arrested when she stopped a West Virginia State Trooper from killing her dog.
The demonic state trooper is Seth Cook he said that he was just doing as he was trained. Yup, trained to do what? abusing the citizens who are paying for their salaries. The dog was clearly wagging his tail and did not pose a threat to the idiot police officer.
The dumb cops was called to respond to a heated dispute between Hupp's father-in-law and a neighbor not about the dog.
Cook the dumb trooper arrive in their property, and the dog named Buddy started walking to him. Then Mr. Dumbo pulled his gun on Buddy and was about to fire before Hupp stepped in between them, stopping the officer from shooting. Ryan Hupp, Tiffanie's husband was the one who filmed the clip since he is too familiar with issues of police brutality, and wanted to document the officer’s actions. If he hadn’t, there wouldn’t have been any evidence of the incident at all.
Tiffanie said that when she was arrested, the cops entered their trailer and took all the phones, tabs, and devices. It took almost a month of constantly calling the police department to get their devices back. At first, they were refusing to return any of the devices unless Hupp or her husband gave up the password protection on their phones. This would have allowed them to search the phones without a warrant, something they are not allowed to do.
At the trial, the dumb cop Cook testify on his own behalf he accused that Tiffanie had a crossbow in her hands, and also raised her hand up to Cook during the incident. Hupp’s attorneys had a few witnesses to bring, but really only needed to show the phone video of what happened. At no time does Hupp have any weapons on her person, nor does she make any threatening gestures toward the officer at all. The whole trial took six hours, and at the end of it all Hupp was acquitted.

Benji The Mite Infested Dog Rescued and Rehabilitated
Benji is a stray dog who lived on the street his whole life, Hope for Paws received a call to rescue him. When rescuers spotted him he was covered with thick, dirty, matted fur that is full of ticks and fleas. He is also fearful of human touch.
The video shows rescuers, spotting the stray dog. They chase him a bit but eventually was able to capture him. They waited him to calm down before touching him.
"Physically, he was so badly matted, covered with ticks and fleas. He bit his tongue as he was struggling to escape from us, so you’ll see a little bleeding – nothing serious. Mentally: Benji was living on the streets all his life, so human contact was so hard for him to get used to."- stated on the YouTube video.
They spent hours grooming, cleaning and medicating the dog. Ticks and fleas can be seen running around his fur. They shave off his severely matted fur. Benji almost didn't move for 10 days he hides every time and doesn't want human touch. When he was introduced to pit bull mixes Lola and Frankie, Benji overcome his fears.
Benji's story is really touching, I hope he get a great caring family that will fill him with love soon!

Woman posted A Picture of her dog with a Duct Taped Snout
Katie Brown thought it was funny to post a picture of her dog with a duct-taped snout on Facebook with the caption "This is what happens when you don't shut up!!!" It went viral and people are not happy and accused her of abusing her poor dog. Her post is no longer posted, she may have took it down to avoid the backlash but was too late. The City of South Daytona, Florida was inundated with messages from concerned citizen reporting that the dog was in danger, since Katie Brown hometown posted on Facebook is South Daytona, Florida. However, authorities located her in North Carolina.
She was later identified as 45-year-old Katharine Lamansky she was charged with animal cruelty by officials in Cary, North Carolina.
The dog in the picture was examined by the local authorities and found to be in good condition. Cary Police Captain Randall Rhyne stated:
"Taping the dog's muzzle shut was a terrible decision on Ms. Lemansky's part, and charging her with animal cruelty under North Carolina law was the right thing to do. At the same time, it's important to also note that our animal control officers who physically examined both Brown and her littermate found the dogs to be very well cared for, which is why we did not and could not remove them from the owner. The dogs are current on their shots, spayed, and microchipped. They are clean and well-nourished and appear to be comfortable in their surroundings. And there were no signs of injury to Brown's muzzle, not even detectable hair loss."

Dog buried alive in France
An man was arrested by authorities after a photo of a dog buried alive in France was posted on social media. The dog which is a French mastiff was rescued last Saturday August 1 when a man who is walking his own dog saw the buried dog in Carrieres-sur-Seine, west of Paris.
He posted on his Facebook page, the picture of the buried dog with the message, "Only her head was visible and it was difficult to see given the amount of earth covering her."
According to authorities, the dog was buried with dirt and stones and the hed was attached to a sack of gravel to keep the dog tied down.
The man who discovered the dog called the emergency services and began to free the animal. The dog, "shocked and dehydrated" was rushed to a veterinary clinic nearby.
Police traced the owner which is a 21-year-old male and he was taken into custody. He denied burying the dog, saying that the animal had run away. However, investigators doubt him since the dog is more than 10 years old and suffers from arthritis. It's difficult to imagine her running away.
He will be put on trial for animal cruelty and could be sent to prison for 2 years and be forced to pay a fine of up to 30,000 euros ($32,600).
* Stupid cruel people should just kill themselves.....what did this amazing dog have done to you to deserve this. May you rot in prison!

Safety Tips in Owning a Pet
Pets are considered as a family member since we spend precious moments with them and they give us unconditional love. However, having a pet is not just feeding, walking, and playing with them. We also need to take care of them and ourselves and prevent our pets having bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic diseases.
Here are some tips by Veterinary Dr. Donna Solomon of Animal Medical Center of Chicago to prevent zoonotic disease in pets:
1. Have your pet's stool sample evaluated for parasites twice a year.
2. Give your dog heartworm prevention drugs.
3. Don't let your pet lick your face.
4. Don't let your cats roam and hunt outdoors.
5. Wash any bite or scratch wound you get from your pets immediately with soapy water.
6. Wash hands before you handle food.
7. Cook food to safe internal temperatures
8. Do not feed your pet raw meat.
9. Dispose your pet's waste properly.

A Ventura County Sheriff's Deputy Threaten to Kill a Pet Dog
I came a cross a story of a dog owner on gizmodo about how a Ventura County Sheriff's Deputy threaten to shoot and kills his 21 months old pet dog. He said while they were camping the cops approached them and shouted "Who's dogs are these? Get them under control or I'll shoot them!" which in my opinion is unprofessional for a police officer. One of the cop even had his gun pointed at his dogs.
Trigger happy SOBs!

Heartbreaking letter by police officer as his final farewell to his beloved K-9 partner
The hardest part in owning a pet is saying goodbye to your friend and your loyal companion. Massachusetts State Trooper Christopher Coscia said his final goodbye for his loyal K-9 partner, his friend, and his companion in a freezing morning last January. His K-9 German Shepherd partner for 8 long years named Dante suffered a seizure outside his house. And for his loyal K-9 partner he dedicated a heartbreaking obituary that he posted on the State Police Facebook page which was meant for his colleagues at headquarters who knew Dante but has gone viral.
Dante had a pulmonary hypertension, his heart was enlarged and suffered seizures due to loss of blood flow to his brain. Dante was a 9-year-old dog German Shepherd who loves his job and stayed loyal to his partner.
A nice but sad story, I really hope Coscia recovers and Dante is now in dog heaven. Farewell Dante!
