PATERSON, N.J. - It supposed to be just a drug raid at a Paterson, N.J. home but they also uncovered a large pit bull dog-fighting ring that was run by the owners of the house.

It was reported that police found 25 dogs in the filthy home on Van Blarcom Street, among them are four dead dogs that are stuffed in garbage bags. Also 18 of the dogs that were found are just puppies, and they were jammed into dirty crates. There were also 3 adult pit bulls that are maimed. Rescuers are now looking for kennel spaces and veterinarians that will take care of the 18 pit bulls puppies.

Paterson Animal Control Officer John Decando said that this is one of the largest dog fighting rings he’s seen. There were blood on the walls, apparently from dog fights.

Two disgusting monsters are now facing a long list of charges. Police arrested 21-year-old Caurie Swinger and 32-year-old Ashley Bryant.
