Story of a Frozen Wolf Rescued

Navarre a wolf got stuck in a freezing cold river in Italy. She was suffering from hypothermia, when she was rescued by very brave souls. She was taken out from the freezing water and was brought back to life. She was still conscious while standing in the river.

Rescuers tranquilize her and the team worked quickly to bring her to shore. Unfortunately, her body began shutting down from hypothermia, and she went into cardiac arrest. They performed CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. She was taken to a nearby animal Rescue Center then once she was stable she was sent to St. Michael’s Hospital for exams and testing.

After 4 months of her rescue, she suffered a “sudden malaise” her body deteriorated and passed away.

A photo from Tampa police shows a scared dog trapped in the river trying hard to get out of the water and at background you will see a huge manatee just watching and standing by. The cops said a concern citizen saw the dog and called the cops. An officer snapped the picture while the dog is being rescued.

Dog Helps Save Woman Stranded in Snow

Vivian Mayo, 57, was rescued last December 11, 2013 in Alaska she was sufferring from severe hypothermia under her snowmobile with her little brown dog Elvis. She was stranded for 3 nights and was lucky to be alive as temperatures go down below 20 degrees fahrenheit.

Elvis the little brown dog helped her stay alive by providing much needed body heat. AP reported that Vivian Mayo was with his husband Scott Mayo 61, in a cabin near Denali National Park. Her husband left to check on a trap line Saturday but hadn't returned by Sunday.

She was worried about her husband so she tried to leave in her snowmobile and get help but the snowmobile broke down. She was not able to return to the cabin. Family members alerted authorities when the couple didn't return home as expected Tuesday night.

Rescuer found Scott Mayo a few miles from the cabin and was in good condition.

German Shepherd Dog Rescues an Abandoned Baby

In Birmingham UK a 68-year-old man was walking his German Shepherd dog in a Birmingham park when all of a sudden the dog ran unto the bushes as if the dog was searching for something. The owner Roger Wilday then found his dog just laying down next to a discarded carrier bag and refused to return to him.

"I walked over and saw a carrier bag then I saw it move. I thought it was a bag of kittens, but then I saw her little arms and a head, and the baby started to cry."

The baby girl was taken to Heartlands Hospital where staff named her "Jade" after the dog that saved her.
